Remedy notes for 100buy shoppers, written outside 100buy

Questions, glossary and help on 100buy remedies

Short answers first, then the words you will meet in after-sales replies, a few habits for choosing finds, and what to do when a request stalls.

Questions readers bring about make-good requests

Frequently asked points come first; each answer is short and links to the page that covers it properly.

Does 100buy give partial refunds?

A partial refund may be proposed in an individual negotiation, but 100buy’s public help pages do not establish that it is normally offered or where a negotiated payment will be credited. Ask for the exact amount, currency, destination and settlement conditions. See the partial-refund page for the decision checklist.

Can I ask for a refund and keep the item?

You can ask; whether the seller agrees is up to the seller. It is the usual outcome for visible flaws that do not stop the item working, and far likelier before the parcel has been sent.

Is a wrong color the same as a color difference?

No. A wrong color option is the seller sending a different option from the one you chose, which is usually swapped. A colour difference is the same option looking unlike its photos. It is outside the ordinary inspection scope, but return eligibility still depends on seller terms and any specific promise in the listing.

Who pays postage for an exchange?

It turns on whose fault the problem is, not on the remedy you pick. The full returns page sets out who usually pays on each rung.

Does a reship cost me anything?

Caught in the warehouse, usually not: the seller posts the piece inside China and it joins your parcel. Found at home, the piece needs its own international parcel, and that postage is normally yours.

Can I change my mind after accepting a partial refund?

Usually not. Accepting closes the request for that item, so decide with the photos in front of you. A different fault found later is a new request.

What if I only open the parcel days later?

Report anything found after signing as soon as you can; 100buy’s window for that is short, and late reports are turned away. The after-delivery page covers it.

Can a missing piece be sent after the parcel has left?

Usually yes, but it needs a parcel of its own, so many buyers take part of the price instead. Caught in the warehouse, a reship may join the parcel before it leaves; confirm any domestic and added parcel charges.

Does the warehouse test that things work?

Not for powered goods: the check covers the outside and the accessories, and the item is not switched on. It also does not judge color shade, small measurement differences or performance.

Do clothes have a warranty?

Rarely. The warranty route is for goods sold with a warranty card or a warranty note, mostly devices and some hardware.

Can I fix a fault myself and still claim?

Document the condition and ask before trimming, washing or altering anything. Altering the item, resewing a seam or replacing a part usually ends the claim, because the item is no longer as it arrived.

Will 100buy argue my case?

It relays your request in Chinese and can point to its own photos, but the seller decides. Expect a reply, not a ruling.

Glossary of after-sales words

The words that come up in 100buy’s after-sales pages and in replies from sellers, with the meaning this site uses.

Stocked in
The order status that starts 100buy’s return window: the item has reached the warehouse and been checked in.
Aftersale
The button on each order in a 100buy account where a remedy request for that order begins.
Partial refund
Part of the price returned while you keep the item. Not described on 100buy’s pages; common in practice.
Reship
The seller posting a piece that was missing from the original delivery.
Exchange
An item sent back to the seller and replaced, with the right option or a new unit.
Resalable
Fit for the seller to sell again: unworn, unwashed, with tags and packaging. Required for a return.
Handling charge
The small per-request fee on 100buy’s return page; the full returns page gives it in full.
Warranty card
The card or note that sets a warranty period; needed, with the purchase record, for the warranty route.
Waybill
The delivery slip you sign at the door; damage noted on it supports a transit claim.
QC photos
The warehouse photos taken when an item is checked in. Quality check photos show what arrived; they are not a fault hunt.
Balance
The money held in your 100buy account, where refunds normally land.
Custom-made
Made or altered to your instructions; outside the return arrangement.

Choosing finds and sellers with remedies in mind

Remedies start before you pay. A few habits when deciding what to buy make every later request easier.

  • Read the listing for what is included. Note the count, the set, the strap. A reship request is only as strong as the listing.
  • Prefer shops that state their after-sales terms. Good sellers say whether they take returns and whether a warranty card comes with the item; a seller reputation built on reviews matters less than those plain words.
  • Pick the option with care. Most swaps start with a misread option name.
  • Plan to look at the QC photos. Reading the QC photos for faults the day they appear is what keeps the cheap rungs open.

Before you pay, also check whether the item is one of the goods that lose the return arrangement, such as custom work, underwear or sealed cosmetics. If it is, ask which seller-specific remedies remain before deciding to buy and decide with that in mind.

Need help with a request that has stalled

If a remedy request has gone quiet, a short sequence usually moves it.

  1. Check the order in your 100buy account for a reply you may have missed.
  2. Add one message to the same request asking whether the seller has answered, rather than opening a new one.
  3. If the request is about a fault found after delivery, make sure your first report went in within the window; later reports are not handled.
  4. For questions that do not fit an order, write to [email protected] with the order number.
  5. Keep every message inside the one order thread, so whoever picks it up at 100buy sees the whole history at once.

Shipping, customs and a remedy

A remedy does not change what happens at the border. Customs duties and any fines on a parcel are the buyer’s to bear, and the declaration should state value the contents truly: declare the real value of what is inside. A partial refund agreed later does not rewrite a declaration already made.

Shipping choices do touch remedies in one way: a parcel submitted in a hurry closes the cheap rungs early. If you are waiting on a reship or an exchange, hold the parcel until the piece has arrived and been photographed, then send everything together on the shipping line you prefer.
